The Art Educators of Iowa and the Des Moines Art Center invite energetic and motivated young artists to participate in the ninth annual All-State Art Camp. This camp is especially designed for students interested in pursuing the visual arts in college and those preparing portfolios for the Art Educators of Iowa All-State Art Competition. Students entering grades 10 – 12 in the fall of 2011 are eligible.
- The camp includes an introductory course in drawing the figure from a nude model with Art Center Visiting Artist Tracy Duran.
- Reinforce your understanding of the human form by creating figures in clay, taught by Linda Lewis.
- Critiques and information on portfolio development are scheduled.
