All teachers sending submissions to the art activity for which Sargent Art has sponsored prizes in your state are eligible to receive the Participation Gift offered by Sargent Art.
 
However, there is an additional step to be taken by each teacher in order to receive this Gift of  Participation. This is entirely optional and each teacher should decide whether she/he would like to receive this Gift.
Sargent Art is requesting the Principal of the school to send in the attached form, with all the information requested in it, directly to Sargent Art.
Kindly take a look at the attached form and make it available to all participating teachers in your state. The Participation Gift will only go to the schools which have submitted this form directly to Sargent Art, via email at [email protected].
 
I would like to take this opportunity to also clarify that the Participation Gift is in no way connected to the list of Participating Teachers which we are requesting on the third page of the Workbook.  The list of participating teachers provides us with a quantitative measure of the reach of our sponsorship. After the winners are announced, we would ship the individual category prizes to each winner’s school after we receive the list of participating teachers from you.

​On August 15th, arts advocates from across Iowa gathered to fine tune their advocacy strategies at the Iowa Arts Forum. They learned about actions you can take to ensure the arts are on the agendas of media and policymakers as they set their sights on Iowa for the first-in-the-nation caucuses. Celebrated singer-songwriter and  ArtsVote 2020 Chair Ben Folds  joined Americans for the Arts Action Fund and the Iowa Cultural Coalition with tips to elevate the creative economy by advancing arts policy at the local, state and national levels.
